SO…WHAT IS COACHING, EXACTLY?
The International Coach Federation (ICF) defines professional coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.” Each coach at Bloom works with their clients to:
- Discover, clarify, and align with what the client wants to achieve
- Encourage client self-discovery
- Elicit client-generated solutions and strategies
- Hold the client responsible and accountable
This process helps clients dramatically improve their outlook on work and life, while improving their leadership skills and unlocking their potential.
WHAT COACHING ISN’T…
Coaching isn’t therapy.
While the coaching – client relationship can feel therapeutic at times, coaching isn’t therapy. As we work together, should we uncover areas that may cross over into the realm of therapy, please know that we work with a select group of vetted licensed providers that can further work with you in those areas (i.e. Anxiety, Depression, etc) while we continue forward with your coaching -related goals.
Coaching isn’t consulting.
We also provide niche consulting services related to Organizational Behavior and Team Development/Expansion. Coaching, however, is also not Consulting. Click here to learn more about the differences between Coaching, Consulting & Therapy.
